Process Optimization: Collaborate with engineering teams to refine machining processes, enhance efficiency, and innovate new techniques for high-precision manufacturing.
Interpret Technical Specifications: Read and analyze technical drawings to ensure programs meet strict tolerances and regulatory standards for aerospace, defense, and other industries.
Quality Assurance: Perform quality checks using precision measurement tools to verify components meet exacting standards, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve programming and machining issues to maintain production schedules and uphold efficiency.
Continuous Improvement: Contribute to initiatives that advance programming workflows, machining processes, and product development.
Machine Operation (Secondary): Set up and operate 5-axis CNC machines as needed, ensuring proper function and maintenance.
Safety and Compliance: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace, adhering to industry safety and regulatory standards.
What We’re Looking For
Experience: Proven expertise in CNC programming, with a strong track record of developing programs for complex, high-precision components. Experience in aerospace, defense, or similar regulated industries is a plus.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Siemens NX), CAD model integration, and CNC programming. Familiarity with 5-axis machining and precision measurement tools is desirable.
Programming Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills with an intuitive approach to coding and optimizing machine instructions for efficiency and precision.
Entrepreneurial Spirit: A proactive, innovative thinker with a startup mentality, eager to take ownership and build a transformative manufacturing operation in Texas.
Quality Focus: Commitment to delivering flawless work under strict regulatory standards, with meticulous attention to detail.
Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams while thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
