Inventory Control Supervisor

Job Description

Position is responsible for maintaining accurate inventories at multiple locations. Will occasionally travel between Anaheim and Downey locations. Must have good knowledge of Excel and computer systems. Employee must develop strong knowledge of inventory processes and engage with manufacturing, shipping, and receiving personnel to ensure inventory is being recorded accurately. Knowledge of Oracle is a strong plus.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Perform Monthly Physical Inventory of Billet/Raw Materials at Downey and Anaheim locations.

· Prepare Monthly Physical Inventory of Work in Process at Downey and Anaheim locations.

· Prepare Monthly Physical Inventory of Scrap at Downey and Anaheim locations.

· Send monthly inventory reports to Controller on a timely basis

· Check physical counts against Oracle ERP System counts; research discrepancies as needed and report on findings to management.

· Engage with manufacturing, shipping, and receiving personnel throughout the month to ensure that inventory is being recorded properly in Oracle. Provide assistance and training to personnel as needed.Company Description
