Plumbing Technician – 2+ Years Experience
Are you a skilled and driven Plumbing Technician looking to grow your career with a successful and rapidly expanding Plumbing Service Contractor? We’re looking for an experienced and professional Plumbing Technician to join our team and play a key role in the continued success of our business.
Responsibilities:
Plumbing Installation & Repair: Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems including piping, fixtures, water heaters, and drainage systems in residential and commercial properties.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose plumbing issues efficiently and provide effective solutions to ensure customer satisfaction.
Material Handling: Identify and source necessary plumbing materials and fittings for each job.
Job Site Management: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe worksite; follow all safety protocols and code requirements.
Customer Service: Interact with customers in a professional and respectful manner; explain plumbing issues and repair plans clearly.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with office staff and fellow technicians to ensure seamless job scheduling and completion.
Documentation: Accurately document services performed, materials used, and time on job for each project.
Sales: Know how to sell
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of hands-on plumbing experience (required)
Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, codes, tools, and safety practices
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various environments (indoors/outdoors, crawlspaces, attics, etc.)
Strong communication and customer service skills
Must be able to work weekends and be open to a flexible schedule
Must be willing to undergo a background check
Journeyman certification or equivalent a plus but not required
Compensation: $25 - $35/hour depending on experience. (Subject to change based on project scope and technician performance)
