If you're a sharp CA-licensed attorney with an interest in family law and a desire for professional growth, we invite you to inquire about the associate attorney position that is currently available at our Pleasanton office. Our established law office is growing, and we're looking to build our team.
At least 1-year of experience in family law is strongly preferred. Above all, the ability to write well is a MUST for this position. We offer competitive pay and benefits. Remote work will also be available. However, you must be able to work at our Pleasanton office initially, at least until your abilities and organization skills are determined.
Responsibilities include:
Drafting correspondence and legal documents of varying complexities.
Conducting legal research.
Appearing in court and litigating various aspects of family law matters.
Attending settlement negotiations.
Meeting with clients
Qualifications:
Must be able to work both independently and as a part of a team
Must be punctual, detail-oriented, and honest
Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
Must maintain high standards of professionalism and confidentiality
Must have excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, & Adobe
Must have reliable transportation
Candidates should be highly organized, communicative, and proactive in managing tasks. The ability to prioritize and multitask is imperative.
Plus, a good sense of humor will definitely be appreciated.
We would like to bring someone on that would like to grow with the firm, has a solid work ethic, and takes pride in a job well done. The position comes with compensation commensurate with experience ($95,000/yr to $200,000/yr starting)
