Quality Engineer – Aerospace / Manufacturing

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and support initiatives within AS9100 and ISO:9001 Quality Management Systems
Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to ensure compliance and accuracy
Perform inspections using micrometers, calipers, and other handheld gauging tools
Collaborate across teams to meet quality and customer expectations
Utilize Excel for tracking, reporting, and analysis — including pivot tables, logic, and statistical functions
Contribute to and manage documentation for APQP/PPAP processes
Troubleshoot issues hands-on, applying problem-solving techniques to support continuous improvement
Communicate effectively with management, manufacturing teams, and customers
Leverage tools like Discus FAI and Net-Inspect for documentation and reporting
What You Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Material Science, Quality, Business, or related field
(or at least 5 years of relevant experience)
2+ years of experience in Quality Engineering
Strong understanding of quality systems, documentation, and compliance standards
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
A hands-on mindset with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and process control
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively in a dynamic environment
Working proficiency in Excel and quality inspection tools
Preferred Skills:
Experience with Discus FAI and Net-Inspect platforms
Familiarity with APQP and PPAP documentation and process flow
Prior experience working in aerospace or precision manufacturing environments
