Job Description
Responsibilities:
Industrialization of new products (starting support, tool optimizations, process and product adoption), interpret and analyze the product calculation.
Root cause analysis in case of failure (process, material, tools) in the project phase, on site between CPS and operations.
Continuous improvement of stability and waste reduction in the project phase, on site organization/coordination tool launch.
Support on ramp up for new projects and industrialization in plant.
Participation in tool acceptance. Realize profit-oriented change management.
Assure smooth handover to operations by reaching all project target set in context of new parts approval. Transfer of technology know-how (product, material, process, tools, etc.).
Collaboration in customer projects as part of the project team, support operation topics.
Has full responsibility for the tools used in Carcoustics.
Manage all activities related to the tools, including RFQs, tool makers selection, tool kick off, specifications, design approval, timings, acceptance and launching.
Work closely with the project team members, costing, maintenance, purchasing and the production plant. Develops innovative process solutions. Collaborates on the creation of process documentations and D/PFMEAs. Travels to production plants to launch new tools when needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering or similar.
2-5 years of experience as Tool and Process Engineer or similar position, preferably in the automotive industry. Understanding of GD&Ts and FMEAs, CAD.
Experience with thermoforming, injection molding, PU. Automation is a plus.
