Successful Philadelphia law firm seeks experienced Paralegal with minimum 2 years PA Plaintiff’s Personal Injury experience. Knowledge of other litigation types is a big plus. Applicant must have significant experience in the litigation process from inception through trial/settlement; including, extensive heavy client contact, case development, investigation, drafting of pleadings/briefs, responding to requests for discovery, processing of claims, obtaining medical records, preparing medical summaries and treatment chronologies, preparing specials packages, contact with insurance companies, arbitration and trial packages, and all phases of trial preparation and assisting during trial. The ideal candidate can type at least 65 wpm; must be organized; be able to work independently; prepare pleadings and discovery answers; and learn quickly. I am a solo practitioner with multiple types of litigation practice areas. There is also room to grow for the right candidate. Hybrid work is permitted one day a week. Must be proficient with Microsoft Word and Office, as well as Outlook, e-filing in numerous courts, WCAIS, handling client files and interacting with clients.
There is also room to grow and advance for the right candidate. Salary is based upon experience. Hours can be part-time or full-time.

Busy sole practitioner with a neighborhood law office. Flexible schedule, but full-time receptionist/file clerk. Our receptionist was here six years and can no longer work. We need to supplement our staff and "family". Employer understands family demands occur if you have children or the elderly that you care for. Great environment to work in, but it can be stressful at times.
