Position Overview: General Dentist FQHC in Bethel, AK
Location: Bethel, AK (with outreach to surrounding tribal communities)
Setting: Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC)
Role: Provide comprehensive dental care while actively contributing to the development of an outreach program to serve remote tribal communities. Key Responsibilities:
Deliver general dentistry services to patients in Bethel and surrounding villages
Travel periodically to outlying tribal communities to provide care
Assist in establishing and expanding the outreach program
Work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team Qualifications:
Education: DDS or DMD from a CODA-accredited dental school
Experience: Minimum 1 year of work experience preferred (proficiency in endodontics is a plus)
Licensing & Certifications:
Active Alaska dental license (in good standing)
Current BLS certification
Current DEA registration
Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities; comfortable working independently Compensation & Benefits:
Salary: $225,000 $260,000 (DOE)
