Your Role
This position is to provide strategic support to the Sales and Marketing (S&M) organization through robust business intelligence, pricing analysis, and strategic insights. This position plays a critical role in collecting, analyzing, and transforming data into actionable information that enables informed decision making at both the management and regional levels. By monitoring market trends, competitive landscapes, and industry movements across multiple regions and segments, the role ensures the company maintains a clear understanding of its position and opportunities in the market.
In the area of pricing, the role is responsible for building and maintaining a deep understanding of cost structures, market price dynamics, and customer profitability. By integrating input from Finance, Operations, and Sales, this position supports the development of effective pricing strategies that contribute to margin optimization and strategic growth. The individual will also monitor pricing performance and provide regular feedback to key stakeholders to continuously refine pricing approaches.
Additionally, this position contributes directly to the development and execution of the company's commercial strategy. By collaborating closely with the S&M management team, the role helps align market intelligence and pricing insights with overall business goals, ensuring effective production capacity allocation and optimal commercial decisions. This position may also act as a strategic back-up to the VP Sales & Marketing, providing continuity and support in decision-making processes.

Business Intelligence
Market indexes (region and industry segments)
Projects follow up and status update (region and industry segments)
Competition analysis and tracking (players, capacity, capabilities, performance)
Tariffs analysis
Import/Export data analysis
Identify, use and administrate business intelligence tools and sources
Provide comprehensive reports to management (VP S&M) and Sales Team (RSMs)
Pricing
Analysis of pricing structure per product account
Interaction with Finance/Controller and Operations to have good understanding of costs
Interaction with RSMs and applicable Sales staff to understand market price levels
Provide management and sales team price strategy
Track pricing and profitability results (along with Controller) per customer, product, region.
Monthly report with Price Strategy updates
Sales Strategy
Work within S&M management team to provide feedback and insights about strategy and plans
Support decisions about price per product to have optimal production capacity allocation
Provide back-up to VP S&M when required
Skills and Qualifications
Knowledge about Stainless Steel/ Long Products industry (hot and cold products)
Knowledge about Market (O&G, CPI, Metals, P&P, Automotive, Semicon, Aerospace) industries
Solid understanding of systems and sales procedures
Language: English fluent, Spanish and Portuguese optional (plus)
About You
Education- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering or other relevant fields is preferred. Work experience can replace the requirement for bachelor’s degree.
Experience- 10 years of experience in sales, account management, application engineering, technical marketing, business development
