Ensure uptime, performance, and compliance of the Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) in alignment with bank standards.
Collaborate with Design, Change, and Run teams, as well as Application and Development teams, to support OCP-related requirements, standards, optimization, and troubleshooting.
Participate in technical discussions to provide input on cost optimization, technology adoption, and operational improvements within the Engineering team.
Plan and execute deployment, installation, upgrades, patching, and disaster recovery testing for OCP environments.
Deliver Level 3 (L3) support for Red Hat OCP, including system administration, change management, and performance monitoring.
Support deployment and configuration of OCP components and deliver fixes as needed.
Conduct health checks and assessments of existing OCP setups and provide best practice recommendations to L2/L1 support teams.
Provide technical guidance for patching, upgrades, and migrations of OCP environments, including operator components.
Troubleshoot OCP and container-related issues in collaboration with cross-functional IT teams and vendor support for timely resolution.
Coordinate with network, Wintel, IT security, and storage teams for system upgrades and maintenance.
Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation covering configuration, usage, troubleshooting, backup, and recovery procedures.
Create and maintain scripts for efficient OCP environment management.
Lead and manage enhancement and infrastructure-related projects as required.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
4–9 years of relevant experience in enterprise IT environments.
Hands-on experience with Red Hat OCP, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Image Registry, Microservices, and DevSecOps.
Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced, shifting-priority environment.
Proven problem-solving skills and resilience under pressure.
Collaborative mindset with a focus on team outcomes.
Experience working in SLA-driven environments.
Flexibility to work in dynamic, team-oriented settings.
Availability to support weekend work as per roster and provide on-call support during weekdays when required.
