Description
MAJOR FUNCTION:
Perform all clerical and receptionist duties that are relevant to department. Responsible for the maintenance and confidentiality of patient’s medical records. Maintains necessary paper forms and supplies.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education & Experience:
High school education or its equivalent.
Previous experience as unit clerk/nurse's aide preferred.
Medical terminology preferred, computer experience.
Certification/Licensure:
Certified Health Unit Coordinator, preferred.
BLS within 120 days of hire
WELLE within 120 days of hire
Knowledge & Skills:
Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to complete computer tasks.
