Reliability Engineer – Pulp & Paper Industry

Full-Time Permanent Plymouth, NC

RL Enterprise Recruiting & Staffing is hiring on behalf of our client, a leading producer of pulp, paper, packaging, tissue, and wood products, for a Reliability Engineer position. This full-time, permanent role offers an opportunity to improve maintenance processes and equipment reliability within a high-performing production facility.

Qualified candidates must have one of the following: (1) Recent graduate with a BS in Reliability Engineering, (2) a electrical maintenance background with PLC expereince and reliability engineering, or (3) oil and vibration analysis background.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement sustainable, reliable maintenance processes.

Plan and schedule preventive and predictive maintenance programs.

Oversee lubrication routes, vibration analysis, and other reliability techniques.

Conduct root cause failure analysis (RCFA) and lead corrective action efforts.

Lead asset strategy development and integrate reliability best practices.

Identify process and equipment improvements to enhance efficiency and safety.

Manage and report on maintenance KPIs and support mill-wide projects.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Reliability or Maintenance preferred).

Relevant experience in reliability, maintenance, or process improvement.

Strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Proficient in computer applications related to maintenance and reliability.

Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
