Position Summary:

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Mechanical Design Engineer to develop and improve dry product packaging machines. This role involves designing innovative, scientifically grounded solutions from concept through manufacturing and field support. You'll play a critical role in ensuring high-quality, reliable machines that meet customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

Translate machine requirements into robust mechanical designs considering materials, tolerances, styling, and manufacturability.

Develop and validate design concepts using engineering calculations and simulations.

Select and evaluate components, materials, and assemblies.

Perform analysis on stress, strain, and vibration to ensure design integrity.

Improve existing products and develop new solutions to enhance quality and reduce costs.

Support manufacturing, sales, and service teams with clear technical communication and documentation.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve design and quality issues.

Contribute to technical documents such as layout drawings and user manuals.

Propose ideas for product improvements and innovations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

5+ years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in packaging or industrial machinery.

Proficiency with CAD (e.g., SolidWorks) and engineering analysis tools.

Strong mechanical and materials knowledge with excellent problem-solving skills.
