As a Lighting Assessment Specialist, you’ll hit the road (and the skies) to visit major retail, commercial, and industrial sites across the country. Your mission: assess and document lighting systems, gather critical data, and support our energy-saving retrofit projects. You’ll work with cutting-edge tools and be a vital part of a team that’s helping businesses modernize, reduce energy consumption, and lower their carbon footprint.
This is a dynamic, travel-intensive role—expect to fly out Monday morning and return Friday, visiting multiple sites weekly. Ideal for someone organized, self-driven, and ready to take their career on the road.
What You’ll Do:
Conduct on-site lighting and energy usage audits for commercial and industrial facilities
Use spreadsheets, tools, and templates to collect, analyze, and report lighting data
Communicate findings with sales and project management teams to ensure accurate solutions
Coordinate and schedule your own travel and audit trips—airfare, hotels, rental cars
Maintain up-to-date audit statuses in project tracking systems
Carry and use portable ladders and tools to gather data (interior and exterior)
Manage travel expenses and utilize personal credit (reimbursed weekly)
What We’re Looking For:
A love for travel (up to 90%) and being on the move
Independent, organized, and detail-oriented mindset
Great communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic tech tools
Ability to climb ladders, walk job sites, and carry equipment
Bachelor's degree preferred but not required—recent grads and career changers welcome
Must live near a major airport and have a valid driver’s license
