Are you ready to drive the scale-up of a revolutionary technology that will reshape the electric motor industry? C-Motive is seeking a Director of Process Development to lead the development and optimization of our dielectric fluid purification and handling processes—a critical step in bringing our groundbreaking electrostatic motor technology to market.
This is a high-impact leadership role where you’ll collaborate with technical teams and company leadership to develop scalable chemical processes, optimize production strategies, and implement quality control measures for the next generation of ultra-efficient electric motors.

What you will do:
Scale-up dielectric fluid purification processes from 10L/month to 300L/month
Support the move to increased automation of the fluid handling, component cleaning and motor assembly processes
Develop and implement in-process QA/QC tests, working with technical teams to define product quality standards
Partner with leadership to develop a multi-stage roadmap for fluid processing and handling—targeting production volumes of 1,000 gallons/month
Lead and manage a team responsible for fluid production, ensuring operational excellence and efficiency
Define and track key process metrics, using data-driven insights to optimize performance and reliability
Who you are:
7+ years of experience developing fluid-based chemical processes at scales up to 100 gallons
Degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field
Proven expertise in developing and implementing QA/QC tests and process metrics
Strong understanding of reliability engineering methodologies
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Prior startup experience? Huge plus! We need someone who thrives in hands-on, fast paced environments
Experience with electrochemical systems/products and/or ultrahigh purity requirements
Professional Engineering certification is a plus
