The Quikrete Companies is seeking an experienced Art Director to lead our team of talented and dynamic graphic artists, overseeing the development of high-impact marketing and brand materials across a diverse portfolio of companies.
Reporting to the Vice President, Marketing and Communications of the Quikrete Companies, this is a hands-on role where you will manage a team of designers, oversee creative workflows, and ensure brand identity is consistently executed across all materials. You’ll work across industry-leading brands, including Quikrete, Rinker Materials, Best Block, Pavestone, and Custom Building Products, bringing compelling designs to life in a business-driven environment.

What You’ll Do:
Lead and manage the graphics team, including hiring, mentoring, and developing.
Establish and uphold design and production standards, ensuring quality, consistency, and efficiency.
Oversee daily execution of creative projects, from print to digital, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines.
Maintain a structured workflow, including project intake, prioritization, delegation, and on-time delivery.
Work closely with marketing and sales teams to align creative deliverables with business objectives.
Manage digital asset libraries and other platforms for project management and organized and accessible design resources.
Oversee file preparation, proofing, and final production of all creative assets.
Ensure brand identity is maintained across all materials, working within established guidelines.
Work on-site, five days a week in a dynamic, collaborative office environment.
What You Bring:
6+ years of professional graphic design experience, including 3+ years in a management role.
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Marketing, Communications, or similar discipline
A strong portfolio showcasing brand-aligned marketing materials, print & digital design, and creative leadership.
Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) for both print and digital design.
Deep understanding of layout, typography, and production standards.
Ability to mentor, coach, develop, and guide designers while also executing hands-on design work when needed.
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities.

Experience in photography and video production.
Experience as an Art Director in a business-driven, multi-brand environment.
The ability to present creative work clearly and effectively to internal stakeholders.
