Pay Rate: $33.50 – 38.00/hr. with benefit inclusions
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Mechanical System Engineer. This role primarily focuses on executing data analysis requests, including data studies, condition monitoring content creation, dashboards, and other project work.
The candidate will be fully engaged in team activities and contribute significantly to the work group's success. A typical day involves coding engine health algorithms, data mining to validate these algorithms, and performing data mining and analysis to support product problems.
The candidate may move between several tasks throughout the day or stay focused on a single task, spending most of the time in front of a computer writing code to analyze and visualize data. Results are discussed with other team members, and tasks are refined based on each result.
Responsibilities
Execute data analysis requests, including data studies, condition monitoring content creation, dashboards, and other project work.
Code engine health algorithms and validate them through data mining.
Perform data mining and analysis to support product problems.
Collaborate with team members to discuss results and refine tasks based on findings.
Participate in daily team meetings, either in person or virtually.
Years of Experience and Education
Required: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Required: 2-4 years of engineering experience (combination of internship experience and hands-on work experience).
Desired: Formal analytical or statistical training is a plus. Engine experience is also desirable.

Technical Skills:
Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Desire to code in computer languages used by the team, currently Python and SQL.
Mechanical aptitude and vocabulary.
Desired: Engine experience, strong proficiency in statistical methods, and applied statistical/analytical experience.
