CMM Programmer- Quality Engineer

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced CMM Programmer to join our clients team! The CMM Programmer ensures the processes needed for the Quality Management System are established, implemented and maintained. This position is responsible for supervising and supporting Quality Engineers, Inspectors other Quality personnel as well as assisting the manufacturing team and suppliers relating to product quality and customer requirements.

Shift: First shift, Monday-Thursday, 10 hours

Location: Grantsburg, WI

Essential Functions:

Fluent in CMM programming (online and offline) including PCDMIS and Zeiss Calypso software. A total understanding of GD&T application as it pertains to customer requirements and application to CMM operation.

Support Manufacturing and Quality as it pertains to Quality planning.

Ability to work with Suppliers to ensure compliance to requirements.

Source inspection when required.

Work with minimal supervision with the goal of improving our processes.

Works with and directs Gage Crib Attendant in a support function relating to gage calibration and purchasing.

Responsible for review of contractual deliverables, including but not limited to: Material and process certification, AS9102 FAIR.

Supports AS9100 certification as a member of the Quality Management System team.

Member of the Internal Audit Group.

Perform other tasks as requested or required to support the needs of the business.

Minimum Qualifications:

At least 7 years of experience of Quality Assurance background and QC inspection including CMM programming demonstrated skills in PCDMIS and Calypso.

Knowledge and experience working in an AS9100 Quality System.

Computer knowledge and proficiency required.

Experience with DOD and Aerospace requirements preferred.

Excellent communication and organizational skills required.
