Job Title: Facilities Maintenance & Engineering Manager
Location: Conway, SC Onsite

Salary: $140-160K DOE Plus Bonus and Relocation option

Responsibilities of Position:
Fully committed to the safe, reliable operation and maintenance of all plant and process equipment
Sets goals, tracks performance, and drives continuous improvement in equipment reliability
Oversees all aspects of maintenance, including spare parts management and implementation of preventative, predictive, and proactive programs
Ensures reliable and cost-effective supply of all utilities and gases
Develops and manages departmental budget to meet productivity and efficiency targets
Maintains full compliance with local, state, federal, and corporate regulations and codes
Collaborates with Engineering on the design and execution of safe and cost-effective projects
Develops and implements training programs aligned with plant goals
Recognizes and rewards staff for outstanding contributions
Leads the expansion and optimization of the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
Maintains accurate documentation, including drawings, specifications, programs, and inspection records
Supports all ISO system requirements and ensures a culture of safety
Provides leadership for the process control programming function
Conducts software backups and maintenance on existing systems
Validates program logic and prepares program documentation
Determines hardware and software needs for long-term operations
Leads capital projects and coordinates with contractors to meet cost and productivity objectives
Designs panels, wiring schematics, and bills of materials
Develops diagnostic programs to support process automation and troubleshooting
Creates training modules for maintenance teams
Key Success Factors (6–18 months):
Analyze existing systems and create a long-term growth strategy
Implement control system upgrades to unlock productivity and plant capacity
Partner with IT to develop data tools and improve process transparency
Increase plant uptime and equipment availability
Launch structured maintenance planning and scheduling processes
Establish reliability programs to meet Total Business Cost (TBC) goals
Foster maintenance integration within cross-functional teams
Attributes/Skills Required/Sought:
Strong PLC programming experience REQUIRED (Allen Bradley & GE Fanuc)
HMI programming with Wonderware and Rockwell Software
Hands-on experience with Oracle Databases
In-depth understanding of industrial instrumentation, control theory, and system architecture
Analytical approach to technical process data
Familiarity with motors, drives, and field devices a plus
Solid grasp of electrical engineering practices
Experience with PI&D drawings and redlining
Strong organizational, planning, and verbal/written communication skills
Proven leadership experience in maintenance management
5+ years of manufacturing experience leading a maintenance and engineering team
Self-motivated, collaborative, and results-driven
Strong technical knowledge in mechanical systems, electrical power, and controls
Experience/Education Required/Sought:
BS in Electrical Engineering or Process Engineering
Demonstrated experience with ladder logic and automation control programming
