Position: AV Technician
Location: Bentonville, AR

Schedule: Typically Mon-Fri (7am-4pm)
PR: $23-33/hr (Depending on experience, education, certifications, etc.)
Position Summary:
One of Insight Global’s major clients are seeking multiple AV Installation Technicians in Bentonville, AR to assist with large ongoing and upcoming projects for some of their local clientele. Selected candidates will be responsible for the cabling and installation of audiovisual systems throughout large corporate buildings and will include spaces such as training and conference rooms, shared workspaces, break rooms, and digital signage among other areas. Daily responsibilities include:
Perform installation of permanent AV systems within corporate office settings
Support the preparation of equipment racks for staging of equipment wire lacing including installation of power strips, grounding bars, jack-fields, etc.
Read and understand functional design drawings as well as cable riser diagrams and all architectural drawings.
Assist in the mounting of base build equipment such as monitor mounts, ceiling speakers’ microphones and projectors.
Provides daily feedback to Project Manager, or Site Superintendent.
Able to build and wire custom designs from engineering drawings.
Fiber optic cable handling, installation termination and testing.
Can print and make minor corrections to cable labels.
Maintain an organized work environment specifically orderliness and cleanliness of the shop and jobsites.
Responsible for maintaining their personal licenses, certifications, and qualifications. (Some states have specific requirement in this area).
Maintain daily record of time worked on specific projects for timesheet entry and work performed reports.
Required Qualifications / skills:
Minimum of 1 - 2 years of associated audiovisual installation or fabrication experience (ideally permanent)
High School Diploma or GED is required.
OSHA 10 construction certification (candidates can obtain prior to starting)
Familiarity with a wide range of audio, video and networking equipment.
Knowledgeable of low voltage electrical concepts.
Possess basic installation skills.
Good verbal communication skills and good customer service skills.
Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve technical problems.
Plusses:
Commercial audio-visual integration or related industry experience preferred.
OSHA 30 Certificate is highly desired.
AVIXA CTS and other certification is preferred.
