Software Engineer

Seeking a Software Engineer to develop, test, and support industrial automation systems with programming expertise and travel requirements.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

5+ years of experience in software or automation development

Proficiency in Java, Python, C, and Progress 4GL (OpenEdge ABL)

Experience with Unix environments and relational databases

Willingness to travel and participate in on-call rotations

Preferred Skills:

Understanding of industrial automation systems

Fluent in English

Responsibilities:

Design, program, and deploy Warehouse Control Systems (WCS)

Perform software testing and on-site commissioning

Provide technical support and troubleshoot live systems

Handle escalated support issues and perform root cause analysis

Maintain documentation and assist in user and team training
