Description:

COMPANY OVERVIEW

Our client is a family-founded, heavy civil construction firm based in Glastonbury, CT. Since shifting from residential home building to civil site work in 2012, the company has grown from 5 to over 55 team members and has become a trusted partner on some of Connecticut’s largest highway and drainage projects.

With a reputation for delivering high-quality work, the company now focuses entirely on public infrastructure projects—specifically civil utility and site development. Their team recently completed more than 46,000 linear feet of drainage and water pipe installation, earning strong recognition in the Connecticut market.

What truly sets our client apart is their culture of compassion—for the quality of their work, for their clients, and especially for their people. The leadership team believes in empowering field crews, fostering a team-oriented environment, and treating everyone with respect. They invest in innovation, technology, and union benefits for field staff, while maintaining a humble and collaborative culture.

ROLE SUMMARY

As the company continues to win larger projects and manage long-term contracts, our client is hiring a full-time Civil Estimator to join their team. This individual will own the bid process and help maintain a healthy backlog of work. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role will work closely with project managers and superintendents to evaluate new opportunities, develop detailed estimates, and support project transitions.
