Job Title: HR Assistant
Location: Iselin, NJ
Job Type: Contract (4–6 Months)
Key Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support to the HR department, including data entry, reporting, and file maintenance
Manage and update HR records, spreadsheets, and databases using advanced Excel functions
Perform VLOOKUPs and generate reports to assist with employee data analysis and HR metrics
Support onboarding and offboarding processes
Assist with benefits administration and other HR initiatives
Coordinate meetings, maintain calendars, and handle HR-related inquiries
Utilize HR systems such as SuccessFactors (if applicable) for employee recordkeeping and updates
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in an HR administrative or assistant role
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, etc.)
Experience with HRIS platforms; SuccessFactors experience preferred
Strong attention to detail, organizational, and multitasking skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately
