GOAL:

Mahindra North America is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to lead and deliver key projects. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the entire project lifecycle, from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, and closure. You will collaborate with global cross-functional teams, manage stakeholders, and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role requires a proactive individual with strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, capable of thriving in a dynamic environment

JOB RESPONSILIBITIES:

Project Planning and Initiation: Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders. Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.

Project Execution and Management: Lead and manage project teams, ensuring clear roles and responsibilities. Coordinate and facilitate project meetings, track progress, and proactively manage project risks and issues.

Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Communicate project status, updates, and potential roadblocks effectively. Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle.

Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure projects are delivered within allocated financial resources. Identify and implement cost-saving measures where possible.

Schedule Management: Develop and maintain project schedules, track milestones, and ensure timely completion of deliverables. Identify and mitigate potential delays, and adjust plans as needed.

Risk and Issue Management: Identify potential project risks and issues, develop mitigation plans, and proactively address challenges to minimize impact on project outcomes.

Quality Assurance: Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and requirements. Implement quality control processes and monitor outcomes.

Performance Reporting: Prepare and present regular project status reports to stakeholders, highlighting progress, risks, and issues. Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and analyze project performance.

Team Leadership and Development: Provide guidance, support, and motivation to project team members. Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

Project Closure: Formalize project closure, including final deliverables, lessons learned documentation, and stakeholder sign-off. Conduct post-project reviews to identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Engineering, Information Technology).

Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in project management, successfully leading and delivering projects of increasing complexity.

Proven ability to develop and manage project plans, budgets, and schedules.

Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.

Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience managing cross-functional teams.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Proficiency in project management software and tools.

PMP certification (or equivalent) is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with manufactured products.

Experience with change management principles.

Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
