WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Tackle problems on the boundary of software, hardware, and the real world.

Architect, design and implement software solutions for our product ecosystem.

Deploy applications using cloud infrastructure, analyze user needs, prepare engineering specification documents, prototype new ideas and take software modules from prototype to production.

Promote software development best practices in an agile environment and maintain a high quality bar for systems under development and in production.

Identify security vulnerabilities and ensure our security posture meets compliance standards

Lead technical skill development and knowledge sharing sessions for other engineers.

Collaborate with other engineers, designers, and product managers to influence the overall product direction, contribute to planning cycles and help with project prioritization.

Present ideas, proposals, project status and impact analysis to the organization.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

You’re deeply mission-driven and you think there’s more to life than software that enables puppy ears to be superimposed on photos. Although we concede those are cute.

You have a deep understanding of object oriented programming concepts and modern programming languages like JavaScript, TypeScript, React, React Native, Python and Golang.

You possess good knowledge of cloud infrastructure, service oriented architectures, database schema design and distributed computing for large scale applications. Experience working with infrastructure platforms like AWS, PostgreSQL, Postman, GRPC, Docker etc. is required.

You have a good grasp of different data structures, algorithms, their implementation and performance trade-offs. Familiarity and experience with emerging technologies like LLMs, GenAI and Computer Vision is preferred

You are passionate about user experience and human computer interaction concepts.

You have a strong foundation in software engineering best practices for designing algorithms and writing bug free code. Expertise in software development platforms like GitHub, Honeycomb, Datadog, Postman etc. is required

You are a strong team player and can deal with a lot of ambiguity/intensity that comes with working at an early stage startup.

You’re an innovator who can bring ideas to life and a self-starter who loves to own things end-to-end. You don’t ask for permission - you’re too busy making things happen.

You have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field with 3-7 years of experience in a software engineering role. A Master’s Degree will be considered equivalent to 1 year of industry experience.
