A creative Artist/Author based in Frenchtown, NJ is seeking a reliable, adaptable, and proactive Personal Assistant to support both personal and household management needs. This role is fully onsite in Frenchtown, with flexibility to travel to Brooklyn on rare occasions. The ideal candidate will be deeply organized, discreet, and comfortable navigating a fluid schedule in a creative, evolving environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Household Management:
Oversee home projects, including managing and scheduling renovations, repairs, and upgrades
Coordinate and supervise contractors, vendors, housekeeping, and maintenance personnel
Maintain household inventories and order supplies as needed
Ensure both residences are well-maintained, organized, and running smoothly
Run personal errands, manage deliveries, and help with daily to-dos
Personal Assistance:
Provide day-to-day support to the principal, acting as a gatekeeper and problem solver
Coordinate and communicate with the NYC-based assistant to ensure continuity between residences
Assist with travel planning, appointments, scheduling, and calendar management
Provide occasional pet care and support for the client's dogs (e.g., walks, vet visits, supplies)
Offer general lifestyle and logistical support with a strong emphasis on anticipating needs
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in a similar Personal Assistant or House Manager role
Highly organized, proactive, and adaptable to shifting priorities
Tech-savvy and comfortable with apps and platforms for scheduling, communication, and household management
Excellent communication skills with a positive, no-task-too-small attitude
Discretion, professionalism, and confidentiality are a must
Experience working with creative professionals is a plus
