Job Title: Lead Software Engineer

Location: Marlboro, NJ– (remote)

Duration: Full-time

Job Description:

Managerial and Technical Skills/Experience:

2+ years of experience managing high-performing engineering teams

5+ years of experience in Software Engineering as an Individual Contributor

Highly skilled in Ruby, React, GraphQL, SQL/Postgres, or similar technologies

Deep understanding of OOP, programming best practices, DevX, Software Development Life Cycle

Highly skilled in architecting technical solutions

Proficiency in analyzing complex issues, identifying root causes, and implementing effective solutions

An understanding of systems design and DevOps

Experience in Agile development methodologies

Lead and Manage:

Manage a team of engineers, unlocking their fullest potential by fostering professional growth and development.

Guide and mentor team members through regular 1:1s, technical and soft skills training, interpersonal mediation, goal setting and accountability, and yearly reviews.

Align team goals and initiatives with the overarching vision of the company.

Drive performance and ensure the achievement of measurable results.

Identify opportunities for team and process improvement. Implement strategic initiatives that enhance productivity and effectiveness.

Monitor and optimize team performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Lead by example with integrity, tenacity, and a commitment to excellence.

Interview and onboard new software engineers.

A reasonable, good-faith estimate of the minimum and maximum for this position is $150K/year to $170K/year with benefits
