Senior Project Manager (Contract) â Enterprise Data Platform Migration

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a high-impact data platform migration within our enterprise data portfolio. This is a strategic contract role focused on overseeing the end-to-end execution of our transition to Snowflake, with a key objective to fully sunset MicroStrategy by 2025 and Sailfish by 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the full project lifecycle for the Snowflake migration initiative, encompassing over 200 data tables.
Develop, maintain, and communicate a comprehensive project plan, aligning with enterprise goals and deadlines.
Coordinate and align efforts across multiple scrum teams and technical units, ensuring clear prioritization and timely delivery.
Identify and manage cross-team dependencies, escalating issues and mitigating risks as needed.
Maintain and oversee decision and risk registers, track project budget, and manage third-party vendor engagements.
Facilitate collaboration with business stakeholders, with a focus on driving data governance initiatives and ensuring data quality.
Deliver regular and clear project updates to leadership and stakeholders, proactively identifying areas of concern and recommending solutions.
Required Qualifications:
Proven success managing large-scale data platform migrations, particularly involving 200+ tables.
Strong experience collaborating with business stakeholders on data governance strategy and execution.
Proficiency with Atlassian Jira and Confluence
Familiarity with Smartsheet is a plus.
Demonstrated ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives in an Agile environment.
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
