Job Details

As the Principle Backend Engineer, you will lead the development of our backend infrastructure to enable connectivity and communication between our satellites and billions of IoT devices. The architecture will also span data ingestion from the federated multiple terrestrial IoT networks. You will also be a key leader in our expanding team.

This is an on-site, full-time position.

What you bring:

10+ years of Software Development Experience

3+ years of Principle/Technical Lead Experience

Deep Back-end Infrastructure & API Development (not looking for a full-stack developer)

Recent Experience with Go and Python

Experience with AWS and AWS ToolKit

Experience with Postgres, NoSql, and SQL databases/tools

Experience with Athena

Experience with Amazon Kinesis

Experience in the DevOps space with Terraform, GitHub Actions, Circle CI, and GitLab CI/CD

Understanding of the difference between an online tutorial and a production-level solution

Ability to design for scale and resilience while knowing when to keep it simple

Experience working with devices and their connection and scalability

Strong Architecture and Design Experience
