Who We’re Looking For:
Job Title: Power Platform Lead
Initial duration 06/02/2025 to 06/02/2026 with potential for extension
Work Location: Hybrid position—onsite two days per week (Tuesday and Wednesday) starting from day one.
Lansing, MI – Hybrid (425 W Ottawa Street)
Interview Format: Virtual interviews conducted via Microsoft Teams.
We are seeking a qualified professional to support the installation, configuration, and maintenance of software applications within the Microsoft Power Platform. This individual will work collaboratively with application developers and stakeholders to design scalable, secure, and sustainable solutions that address business needs
Responsibilities:
Data Management: Develop and maintain data structures, assign appropriate access permissions, manage data flows and integrations, and ensure adherence to data security standards.
Application Lifecycle Management: Support app and flow development and deployment, manage solution promotion between environments, and enforce version control and backup protocols.
Environment Management: Collaborate with DTMB Enterprise administrators to manage environments, assign user permissions and licenses, monitor usage and capacity, and maintain compliance with organizational standards.
Governance and Documentation: Uphold organizational policies, conduct log reviews and performance assessments, stay current with best practices, and document processes for developers and users.
Support and Troubleshooting: Provide technical support, troubleshoot environment and application issues, and address performance or security concerns.
Collaboration and Communication: Engage with stakeholders to understand business needs, gather and document requirements, and effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences. Promote the effective use of Power Platform tools across departments.
Qualifications:
Experience with Power Apps administration, including environment management, application deployment, Canvas and model-driven application architecture, app permissions, and sharing.
Experience with Power Automate administration, including flow management, connection and security settings, gateway management, and a strong understanding of flow triggers and actions.
Experience with Dataverse, including entity and field management, security role and permission management, data import/export, data modeling, and understanding of relationships and business rules.
Experience with Azure Active Directory / Entra ID, including user and group management, authentication, security, and conditional access policies.
Experience in Power Platform governance, including environment strategy and management, data loss prevention policies, and knowledge of auditing and logging best practices.
Familiarity with Power BI, including workspace and dataset management, report deployment, and access controls.
Effective written and verbal communication skills suitable for a diverse audience.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a dynamic environment.
Commitment to providing high-quality support and user-centered service.
Experience with configuration management and version control systems, such as Git, in a Power Platform context.
Familiarity with PowerShell scripting for task automation and environment maintenance.
Experience with Power Pages, including website management and Dataverse integration.
Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate).
