REQUIREMENTS:

The criteria include:

DCJS SECURITY LICENSE IS REQUIRED!

REQUIRED TO PASS A PRE-EMPLOYMENT DRUG SCREENING

Minimum age requirement of 18 years

Legal work status in the US

Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent

Reliable and functional transportation (Public transportation is not acceptable)

Ownership of a cell phone for contact by Operations Supervisors

Ability to pass a criminal background check with no felony arrests or convictions

Ability to perform duties as stated in post orders, which may include standing/walking for extended periods or lifting

Familiarity with mobile technology (tablets, smartphones, etc.)

Possession of a VALID full driver’s license (public transportation is not acceptable)

DUTIES/WHAT WE LOOK FOR:

Maintain a daily log of all activities during your assigned shift at your assigned post

Document all incidents occurring during your assigned shift in a detailed incident report

Conduct walking/vehicular patrols throughout your shift

Enforce customer rules in a professional and courteous manner

Arrive on time and in proper uniform at your assigned post

Ability to interact and communicate with the public

Effective oral and written communication skills

Active listening skills

Ability to assess and evaluate emergencies effectively

Ability to quickly and accurately identify critical issues and respond appropriately

MONDAY - FRIDAY 0800 - 1600

MONDAY - FRIDAY 1600 - 0000

$18.00 PER HOUR

MUST PASS PRE-EMPLOYMENT DRUG SCREENING

DCJS SECURITY LICENSE REQUIRED

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years in Security (Required)

Minimum of 1 year of Customer Service experience (Required)

License/Certification:

Driver’s License

A Valid DCJS License (Required)
