Pay Rate: $16.50 per hour

Hours: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM

Position Summary

We are hiring Retail Door Security Guards to provide a strong visual presence at the entrances of major retail stores. Your primary responsibility will be to deter theft, monitor customer entry and exit, and maintain a professional and welcoming atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

Greet customers entering and exiting the store in a courteous and professional manner

Monitor the front entrance for suspicious behavior, theft, or policy violations

Deter shoplifting and maintain visible deterrence at all times

Maintain a detailed log of shift activities and incidents

Report emergencies or security concerns to store management and/or local authorities

Follow all company protocols and retailer-specific security procedures

Ensure compliance with company uniform and appearance standards

Assist store employees in enforcing store rules if requested

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years of age

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

NYS Security Guard Card

Customer Service and Communication Skills

Prior experience in security, loss prevention, or customer service is a plus

Able to stand for extended periods
