Job Skills / Requirements

Cleaning:

Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting floors, cleaning surfaces, and sanitizing restrooms and other common areas.

Trash and Recycling:

Emptying trash cans and recycling bins, disposing of waste properly, and ensuring the cleanliness of waste disposal areas.

Supplies:

Restocking restroom supplies (toilet paper, soap, paper towels), stocking cleaning supplies, and ensuring the proper storage of materials.

Maintenance:

Performing minor maintenance tasks like changing light bulbs, unclogging toilets, and reporting any significant maintenance issues or safety hazards to management.

Safety:

Following health and safety procedures, using cleaning chemicals and equipment correctly, and ensuring the building remains secure (e.g., locking doors).

Organization:

Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of janitorial closets and storage areas.
