We're looking for an experienced CNC Machinist who thrives on precision, problem-solving, and collaboration.

If you're passionate about machining complex, low-volume parts and want to work in a dynamic R&D environment, we'd love to meet you.

What You'll Do: * Program, set up, and operate CNC and manual machines (lathes, mills, grinders, saws, etc.) * Work independently to machine parts to tight tolerances (from under 0.06" to 24") * Collaborate with engineers and programmers to improve part machinability and reduce costs * Perform first/last piece and in-process inspections * Troubleshoot machining issues and suggest improvements * Mentor junior machinists and share your expertise * Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area (5S standards) What You Bring: * 8-10 years of CNC machining experience or equivalent education * Completed 4-year apprenticeship or 2-year technical degree in Machine Tool Technology * Strong blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation skills * Familiarity with Fanuc and Mazak controls * Ability to adapt to different work centers and changing priorities * A team-first mindset and strong communication skills Why Gatan?
