Job Summary

Implements and administers enterprise-wide document management systems and related procedures that allow district to capture, store, retrieve, share, and destroy records and documents.

What you will do

Implements archived records processing: retrieval, distribution, and destruction systems.

Oversees, analyzes and improves workflow of staff to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of department and to support district goals.

Conducts needs assessments to identify document management requirements of departments or end users and serves as a liaison for district’s records archives.

Supervises scanning and indexing student educational records and monitors quality control.

Monitors department’s activity to maintain compliance with records and document management policies and laws.

Compiles and analyzes usage data for regular and ad hoc reporting.

Keeps abreast of developments in document management technologies and techniques by reviewing current literature, talking with colleagues, participating in educational programs, attending meetings or workshops, or participating in professional organizations or conferences.Education Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in a related field Preferred Experience Qualifications

Minimum of five years directly applicable experience supervising a work team Required Licenses and Certifications

DL NUMBER - Driver License, Valid and in State Valid Tennessee Driver’s License Required Equivalency

Starting At: $60,247.72

Salaries are determined by factors relevant to the position which may include education, experience, and other qualifications. Final compensation decisions are made at the discretion of MNPS in alignment with organizational policies and procedures. The stated salary range for certificated teaching positions is calculated based on 201 days and should be viewed as a reference. All provided salary ranges serve as a general guideline.
