Direct Counsel is seeking a Midlevel IP Associate to join the Patent Litigation Group of a prestigious Am Law 100 firm. This role offers the chance to work on cutting-edge cases involving a variety of technical fields, including biology, chemistry, physical sciences, and engineering. Candidates may sit in either New York or Washington, D.C.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate on complex patent litigation cases across a range of industries

Develop strategies and provide legal counsel for high-stakes intellectual property matters

Leverage technical knowledge to navigate cases related to sciences and engineering

Key Qualifications:

Midlevel associate with prior patent litigation experience in a law firm setting

A technical degree in biology, chemistry, physical sciences, engineering, or related fields is preferred

Outstanding academic credentials and superior written and oral communication skills

Admission to practice law and good standing in New York or Washington, D.C.

Compensation:

The salary range for this position is $310,000 to $390,000 annually, with actual compensation determined based on experience and other relevant factors.
