We’re seeking a skilled and detail-oriented RF Integration and Test Engineer to join our team.

In this role, you’ll lead the integration and validation of advanced wireless RF systems supporting a LEO satellite constellation communication network.

You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to drive innovative products from concept through to full-scale production.

What you will be doing:

Develop complete RF specifications governing silicon and module-level designs, working with partner teams in - Architecture, Product Systems, Algorithm Systems, firmware and RFIC Design.

Produce RF line-up specifications in close collaboration with the RFIC design team to guide the development of test and validation of the designs.

Understand system requirements and architecture in depth and formulate detailed test plans to validate the requirements.

Design lab setups for various types of tests, including radiated chamber tests. Build racks and other test-rigs as necessary for executing the test plan.

Work with external vendors for procuring components and equipment necessary to build test systems.

Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams – hardware, software, mechanical, systems, etc. in different time-zones to ensure that system requirements will be met during operation.

Define test plans and test strategies for lab, field and on-orbit testing.

Automate the test execution including control and configuration of test equipment.

Document test results, test coverage and other KPIs and communicate to all stakeholders regularly.

Deep-dive into test results and root-cause issues and communicate to the appropriate teams.

What you bring to this role:

MSEE or Bachelor’s degree in EE/CS/CE or a related field

7+ years of experience in RF test and validation in the industry with a history of launching successful products.

Deep understanding of wireless communications principles, especially in the context of satellite systems.

This is a full time, exempt position, based out of our Saratoga, CA office. The total compensation packaged will be determined by various factors such as your relevant job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. We are redefining how satellites are designed, manufactured and used—so we’re looking for candidates with passion, deep knowledge and direct experience on LEO satellite component development, design and in-orbit activities.
