SUMMARY

The Manager, CAPEX Project Planner will work alongside members of the Capital Projects and Finance teams to contribute to all aspects of the planning, budgeting, and execution of all arena, venue and facility improvements including but not limited to repair, maintenance, replacement, renovation, and installation of all building equipment, technology and systems. The ideal candidate will ensure completion of CAPEX projects while handling timelines and budget ensuring the highest level of safety, compliance and quality with adherence to all local, state, federal, and other agency requirements/permits.

This role will report to the Senior Director of Capital Projects.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables

Conduct feasibility studies to assess the viability of projects.

Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.

Developing and manage project budgets; tracking project costs and identifying potential cost overruns to ensure projects are completed within budget.

Create and maintaining project schedules, monitoring project progress against the schedule; identify and mitigate potential delays.

Oversee the execution of projects, ensuring they are implemented according to plan; take corrective action to address problems and ensure projects stay on track.

Communicate with stakeholders across internal teams, external contractors, and the public; manage expectations and addressing concerns.

Ensure projects align with stakeholder needs and priorities.

Identify and assessing project risks.

Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.

Monitoring risks throughout the project lifecycle.

Participating in the development of the long-term project plan cycle.

Ensuring projects align with the company's long-term goals and priorities.

Managing a portfolio of capital projects. WHAT YOU WILL BRING

A minimum of 5 years of experience in operations or construction management; sports and entertainment venue experience preferred.

Degree in Architecture or Construction Management not required, but preferred.

Proficient in administration of project scope, costs and timelines.

Strong construction background; multi-property management experience is a plus.

Experience with risk and issue management, mitigation and partner concern.

Solid track record running large scale and complex CAPEX projects on time and within budget while managing multiple projects simultaneously. WHO YOU ARE

SALARY RANGE

$95,000 - $110,000 base salary

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This role is based in our corporate headquarters in Brooklyn and requires flexibility to support projects that may occur in the evenings, weekends, or holidays.
