Mitsubishi Electric Trane HVAC US LLC is looking for a Project Manager - Air to Water, Applied Projects in Suwanee, GA.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Project Manager is responsible for the project management supporting air to water and other product offerings. Responsibilities include value stream operation, continuous improvement, and development. The Project Manager may also attend project jobsites for various activities and perform sales and engineering functions on an as-needed basis.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

The essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to the following:

Function as a headquarters liaison during the implementation phase of commercial domestic hot water, energy, and building automation projects through collaboration with internal teams, distribution, and contractors.

Cross-functional collaboration with many internal teams to assist in the launch of new products as well as the development and operation of value streams.

Make decisions and recommendations utilizing data gathered from internal systems, stakeholders, and customers.

Responsible for the maintenance & accuracy of project data and activity. Provide reporting details of assigned projects, for analytical review of performance.

Conduct and/or participate in project status- coordination meetings, for both internal staff and external customers, to facilitate positive project outcomes.

Actively maintain good customer relations, including conflict mitigation, in all phases of a project life cycle.

Assist in the development & implementation of policy, procedures, standard work, & tools within assigned value streams.

Assist with maintenance of standards & best practices for design and installation of waterside offerings, Diamond Controls systems, Energy Allocation projects, and other offerings.

Maintain proficiency levels with application, service, and installation of all CMCN & Diamond Controls products. Assist in the identification, development, and execution of required training needs to maintain these proficiency levels.

Assist in the promotion of offerings as required. Activities may include participation in customer meetings, attendance at industry events, staff & customer presentations, and assistance in the development of required marketing resources.

Willingness to travel up to 50% to for various project visits, company meetings, and training both domestically and possibly internationally.

Other Duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS:

B.S. in electrical/computer/mechanical engineering, computer science or technical degree in HVAC Control Systems or Computer Networking, or equivalent is preferred.

1-3 years of project management experience in the Plumbing/Hydronics, BMS/BAS, or HVAC industry.

1-5 years of experience in HVAC controls with a focus on Building Management Systems & Integration is a plus.

Continuous improvement experience with lean methodology and tools is highly desirable.

PMP, PgMP, CAPM, or comparable project management certification is highly desirable.

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $80,000 and $110,000 per year, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including target bonus plans and discretionary awards. Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plans then in effect, eligible employees may enroll in a 401(k) plan, as well as participate in Company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance plans for the employee and the employee's eligible dependents. Employees will also receive 80 hours of vacation per year, 56 hours of paid sick leave annually, and 13 paid holidays throughout the calendar year, depending on hire date. Employees may also take up to 12 weeks of paid or unpaid [parental/disability/emergency/etc.] leave, if eligible.
