Position Overview:
As a Construction Project Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing projects within the educational, multifamily, and assisted living sectors. This is an exciting opportunity to manage diverse projects, including clusters of schools and a high-profile high school project starting this summer. You'll be based in NW Atlanta, with some on-site involvement in larger projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Oversight:
Manage construction projects across educational facilities, multifamily housing, and assisted living sectors, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with Assistant Project Managers and Superintendents (including potential collaboration with a General Superintendent) to drive project success.
Project Management:
Oversee clusters of K-12 schools and higher education facilities, including upcoming projects and a major high school project starting in the summer. Ensure effective on-site presence for larger projects and maintain office-based coordination for day-to-day tasks.
Software Utilization:
Use project management and accounting tools for daily project tracking, budgeting, and communication. Maintain documentation and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
Client & Stakeholder Communication:
Maintain strong communication with clients and stakeholders, attending weekly meetings to ensure alignment on project goals, timelines, and deliverables.
On-Site Management:
Be hands-on with larger projects by visiting sites, ensuring quality control, and addressing any on-the-ground challenges. Office-based for smaller, ongoing tasks. Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in construction project management, with experience in K-12 or higher education facilities and multifamily projects strongly preferred.
Skills:
Proficiency in project management software tools and the ability to coordinate with teams across different construction disciplines. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills are essential. Compensation and Benefits:
Base Salary: $90,000 to $100,000 (or more, depending on experience).
Vehicle Allowance & Fuel Reimbursement: Vehicle allowance provided, and fuel expenses can be submitted for reimbursement.
Health Benefits: 100% health insurance coverage for employees and 70% for dependents.
Bonus: Opportunity for a discretionary performance-based bonus. Interview Process:
