Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Mechanical Assembler, where you will play a crucial role in the creation of high-speed packaging machines for various industries. These machines are custom-designed and built for end users. You will be responsible for sub-assemblies and the assembly of these custom-built machines, utilizing blueprints, engineering drawings, hand tools, and power tools.

Responsibilities

Assemble custom-built machines using blueprints and engineering drawings.

Perform sub-assemblies and full machine assembly.

Utilize hand tools and power tools for assembling components.

Drill or tap holes and attach parts using power tools.Essential Skills

1+ year of mechanical assembly experience with machines or machine maintenance.

Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.

Mechanical and electrical assembly skills.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Work Environment

Work in a 1st shift position from 6am to 3:30pm, with flexible hours as long as a set schedule is communicated. Expect a typical 40-45 hour work week, with potential for 50-60 hour weeks as ship dates approach. Currently operating in two older buildings, you may need to cross the parking lot depending on your project. Plans for a brand new facility are in progress for 2024.

The pay range for this position is $40000.00 - $50000.00/yr.
