Job Description
Recently got a signature on work for the Beaufort County School District and is expected to last 8-12 months. This is a contact to hire position but ability to travel after the Beaufort County work is over will be key as their other work is in Charleston. There also is the outside possibility our techs could travel to their other locations (CLT, Florence, MB, or Raleigh) if work slows down and they need help in those markets. The intention is to keep everyone as local as possible but flexibility with travel will be key.
For the work:
Related to a $344 million bond referendum which is the largest in the School District\'s history. The money will be spent towards the renovation of the physical buildings (electrical, flooring, classrooms), safety/security, and technology infrastructure. Cable techs must be able to run, pull, install, terminate, dress, test, and label copper cable. Must have hand tools (screwdrivers, pliers, snips, etc..)
Work hours: Premiere works toward a quality standard not a time. That being said, hours are generally 4 10\'s (Monday-Thursday) or 5 8 (Monday-Friday)\'s but will depend on the specific crew/project our tech is assigned to. If they are traveling chances are they will work 4 10\'s to give them enough time to get home on Friday. Overtime will be available sometimes depending on the job, when it needs to be completed, etc..
