LPN - Intensive Outpatient Psych - Full Time

Performs and delegates nursing interventions. Communicates effectively with the program director, physicians, and health care team. Is responsible for giving nursing care that is clinically valid and appropriate. Assists in establishing and revising policies and procedures. Directs departmental staff. Other duties as assigned. Excellent written and communication skills required.

Must be licensed with the MS State Board of Nursing

Must have CPR

Must have BLS

Position: Full Time; Health, Dental + Vision Insurance; PTO/STO; 401(A); Short Term/Long Term Disability.Duties and responsibilities

Monitor patient's vitals and record them in their file

Assist nursing and medical staff with basic medical tasks, such as administering medication

Update patient records in a confidential manner

Evaluate the patient's wellbeing, reporting any needs to medical staff

Explain treatments and procedures to patients and families
