Position Overview
As a Technical Account Adviser (TAA) within Accordants Client Success department, you will be a strategic technical advisor to a dedicated portfolio of clients, ensuring the long-term success and optimization of their ERP environments. You will work cross-functionally to deliver high-value guidance, proactive solutioning, and hands-on support related to Accordant-supported ERP systems, including Sage Intacct, Acumatica, Sage 300 CRE, and Sage 100 Contractor.
You will partner closely with key stakeholdersfrom system administrators to C-suite executivesto drive the effective use of technology in support of their business goals. Your work will contribute directly to client satisfaction, retention, and growth.
Responsibilities
Build trusted relationships with technical and business stakeholders, acting as the primary technical point of contact for assigned clients
Provide expert guidance on platform architecture, configuration, integrations, and best practices across supported ERP solutions
Lead technical discovery and collaborate with Client Success Managers to define and execute strategic account plans
Identify and recommend process improvements, add-on solutions, or integrations that align with client needs and business goals
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, coordinating with internal and external teams as needed
Represent the voice of the client in cross-functional discussions with Product, Engineering, and Support teams
Participate in and contribute technical insights to annual business reviews and other key touchpoints
Provide configuration support, develop technical documentation, and enable client self-sufficiency where possible
Proactively identify and mitigate risks to system performance and client satisfaction
Continuously refine and share
internal best practices and scalable solutions for technical account management
Skills Required
5+ years in a technical support, consulting, or ERP systems role
2+ years hands-on experience with Sage Intacct, Acumatica, Sage 300 CRE, or Sage 100 Contractor
Proven experience working directly with clients in a technical advisory or account-facing capacity
Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Effective communicator with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
Familiarity with client lifecycle management and comfort participating in both strategic and tactical conversations
High level of accountability, ownership, and follow-through
Experience working with Salesforce or similar tools for case and relationship management
Preferred Skills
Experience supporting clients in the construction or professional services industries
Prior involvement in client metric initiatives such as NPS, CSAT, or Voice of the Customer
Exposure to process improvement frameworks (e.g., Six Sigma, LEAN)
Ability to lead or contribute to product demonstrations and technical workshops
Working knowledge of accounting or financial workflows in an ERP context
