Job Title: Linux/ Network Systems Admin

Location-Type: Basking Ridge, NJ

Duration: Contract-to-Hire

Compensation Range: $60-70 Per Hour W2

Several factors may be utilized to determine your hourly rate including but not limited to years of experience and specific skillsets compared to employees in this role. Candidates typically start at the lower half of the estimated range.

This role is eligible to enroll in both Mondo's health insurance plan and retirement plan. Mondo defers to the applicable State or local law for paid sick leave eligibility. Job Function:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Manage IT Server Rooms, keep physical server room space organized and safe; perform monthly system patches outside of the normal business hours

Respond to user requests for IT support promptly

Ensure network and computer infrastructure remain available during production hours

Improve data backup solutions, perform regular data backup

Identify root causes of operational issues and process inefficiencies

Prepare reports and documentation

Install hardware and software as requested

Monitor security logs for violations and anomalous events; report information security concerns and problems when necessary

Continuously maintain a thorough understanding of all configurations, architecture, installed software, accounts (both Operating System and Application), data flows, ports, protocols, and other relevant data for each IT System

Desired Skills/Qualifications:

Security onion software suite (snort, pfsense firewall, zeek, etc.) experience

Working experience in open source or commercial IDS, IPS, SIEM

Experience with Kubernetes, Ansible

Commercial firewall equipment administration experiences such as CheckPoint, Palo Alto
