Position Summary:
This position will provide a variety of support services within our Member Service and Communications department on an as needed basis.
Potential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist with answering phones, including receptionist duties.
Enter data into various computer platforms.
Assist with document filing, scanning, and shredding.
Assist with employee and member functions such as meetings, parties, and employee recognition events.
Assist with articles and proofing for employee and member correspondence.
Assist with photography and videography needs, including editing and post-production.
Maintain confidentiality of member and employee information.
Assist with special projects as needed.
Responsible for compliance with the Cooperative's safety rules, safety policies, and safety procedures.
Education:
Current high school or college student.
Experience and Job Knowledge:
Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint) is preferred. Must possess working knowledge of computers and Windows applications.
Abilities and Skills:
1. Must be able to communicate in English, both in written and oral forms with the general public and co-workers.
2. Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality.
3. Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and also be able to work with and assist fellow employees.
4. Must have the ability to follow directions and follow through accurately.
5. Must possess a high level of attention to detail.
Working Environment:
Work will primarily be performed within a climate-controlled office setting. Regular and punctual attendance is an essential function of this position. This position will work less than 30 hours per week with flexible hours, between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
