Title: Facilities Engineer

Location: Manufacturing company near Pleasant View/Ashland City, TN

Reports To: Facilities Manager

Pay Range: $85,000-$110,000

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Facilities Engineer to support the ongoing operational efficiency, safety, and performance of our manufacturing facility. This role requires a proactive and innovative engineering professional with a strong background in project management, facility upgrades, and technical communication. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projects and interface effectively with both technical teams and senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, lead, and execute facility improvement and repair projects with minimal disruption to production.

Identify and recommend upgrades to infrastructure, equipment, and building systems to improve operational efficiency.

Create and maintain accurate AutoCAD drawings for layouts, modifications, and compliance documentation.

Develop project proposals and capital expenditure requests, and present recommendations to upper management.

Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely and cost-effective project execution.

Ensure all projects and facility modifications meet safety, regulatory, and environmental compliance standards.

Maintain up-to-date records of facility assets, utilities, and maintenance plans.

Act as a technical resource and point of contact for facilities-related matters within the organization.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or a related field).

4+ years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial facilities engineering role.

Proficiency with AutoCAD and related design software.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly present technical information to non-technical audiences.

Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously and driving them to completion.

Solid understanding of facility systems such as HVAC, electrical distribution, compressed air, and plumbing.
