In this role, you'll collaborate across departments and business units, using your technical expertise to create customized solutions that drive customer success. What You'll Do:
Partner with senior engineers and department leadership to design smart, efficient technical solutions tailored to customer needs.
Use your knowledge of robotic electrical systems, control integration, and motion technologies to help shape automation solutions.
Apply your understanding of mechanical paint application equipment in developing system designs for coating and dispensing applications.
Bring proposals to life-from concept to cost estimation to final bid package.
Collaborate with Sales and Project Management teams (Local and Global) during customer meetings and help translate complex specs into clear, actionable plans.
Review customer requirements and craft clear, strategic clarifications.
Define scopes of work for mechanical and electrical contractors and facilitate bid meetings.
Create compelling, detailed proposal documents (Bid Text).
Support project kickoff and handover, and attend design reviews and planning meetings
Develop project timelines, schedules, and manpower plans for proposed solutions.
Conduct customer site visits to assess existing systems and identify opportunities for upgrades or integrations.
What You Bring to the Table:
A BS in Electrical Engineering is preferred-or bring 1-2 years of hands-on mechanical and electrical experience in automation (especially within automotive or Tier 1 coating industries).
Familiarity with MS Office and AutoCAD is helpful; SAP or German language skills are a plus.
Strong grasp of automation controls, electrical engineering principles, and robotic/machine automation.
Tech-savvy with Microsoft Office tools and a knack for visualizing both the big picture and the details.
A natural communicator who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Self-starter, adaptable, and ready to take the lead or support wherever needed.
Skilled at juggling multiple projects at once without missing a beat.
Willing to travel up to 25% for on-site assessments and collaboration.
