Are you a confident leasing professional with a proven track record of success at challenging or turnaround properties? Vintage Realty Company is seeking an Experienced Leasing Consultant for Village at Fountain Lake, a high-volume residential community in Gonzales, Louisiana. Were looking for a results-driven individual who thrives under pressure, knows how to close leases, and is ready to make a meaningful impact.
Position Overview:
As the communitys sales representative and brand ambassador, you will play a critical role in increasing occupancy, building resident satisfaction, and supporting the property's performance goals. Ideal candidates bring 3 to 5 years of leasing experience and a demonstrated ability to drive results at high-demand, high-turnover, or distressed properties.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain a warm, professional, and customer-focused atmosphere in the leasing office and throughout the community
Conduct property tours and highlight the features and benefits of the Village at Fountain Lake
Ensure model units and market-ready apartments are always in top showing condition
Respond promptly to all inquiries via phone, email, and walk-ins with a sense of urgency and professionalism
Demonstrate a strong understanding of local market conditions and competing properties
Accurately complete lease paperwork and walk applicants through the leasing process
Follow up consistently with prospective residents to convert leads into signed leases
Execute outreach and community marketing efforts to generate traffic
Ensure any deficiencies from move-in inspections are addressed promptly
Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local housing regulations including Fair Housing, ADA, and FCRA
Complete ongoing training requirements including Fair Housing and sales courses
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
3 to 5 years of leasing or high-volume sales experience, preferably in apartment or multi-family housing
Proven success working in challenging, high-turnover, or underperforming properties
Excellent sales, communication, and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and follow-up abilities; detail-oriented and tech-savvy
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with leasing or property management software is a plus
Reliable transportation, valid drivers license, clean driving record, and current auto insurance
Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
