Job Description

Harrison Gray Search has partnered with a prestigious electrical contractor to help them find an Electrical Design Engineer.

Our client is the most established design-build contractor in the southeast with clients reaching across the Carolinas and greater United States. You'd be joining a highly collaborative, team-focused culture that serves a variety of industries ranging from power, corporate interior, eco-living / mixed-use, healthcare, sports, military, etc.

Job Responsibilities:

Work under the direction of the Director of Engineering supporting efforts to design/estimate/efficiently construct projects.

Routinely meet with appropriate parties to verify the designs have been developed in a manner that is effective for the client and is useful for in-field construction.

Assist in developing methods and procedures to ensure consistency in company engineering and design efforts.

Ensure that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements by preparing electrical system specifications and technical/permit drawings.

Establish construction, manufacturing, or installation standards or specifications by performing a wide range of detailed calculations.

Ensure SEC design and BIM standards are followed for all jobs the engineer is responsible for.

Ensure compliance with specifications, codes, or customer requirements by directing or coordinating installation, manufacturing, construction, maintenance, documentation, and support for testing activities.

Job Requirements:

Bachelors in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical field/experience

Revit, AutoCAD experience

Minimum 2 years experience in consulting or design/build industry.
